This is the last week of summer so I thought I'd take more pictures than I usually would, since I'd get lazy once schools starts. Here's how my room looks right after it's been cleaned, which usually only lasts about an hour before I start flinging things around again. You can see my notebook collection at the top of my shelf too, some of which I have never written in.

Nothing feels better than coming home late and cradling myself in between pillows and blankets while editing pictures. Which reminds me, I also updated my flickr : fourfawns

My chickens also made friends with the neighborhood kittens. They seem harmless so far so hopefully they'll remain good pals.

I also attempted to make thai tea, again, yesterday. I was able to get the purple-ish color from brewing a fistful (which is such a crass way of putting it) of loose leafs. It tastes a little less sweet than the conventional boba shop mix, but I personally like it that way since I can control the amount of sugar. (Recipe coming soon).

I finally put up my chalkboard too, after having it on the ground for months. And while going school supply shopping, instead of buying the necessities, I bought really cute envelopes! Someone be my penpal!

Anyways, I've been really obsessed with Young the Giant's live sessions on soundcloud. Sameer's voice is soooo smooth and perfect live. I wish they'd go back to performing at small, local venues.
Which reminds me, I'll be going to a concert tomorrow night to see The Colourist for the second time. And they're performing with Max and the Moon too, so what a bonus 'cus I missed the chance to attend their free concerts this summer.
